Animals come in all shapes and sizes, just like us, but they're at the cutest when they're babies; so what if you could keep them that small forever? Check out these animals that stay tiny and cute their whole lives.

The Brookesia Minima

The Brookesia minima is the worlds smallest chameleon breed and its just a half inch in length. It lives on the floor of the rain-forests in Madagascar.

Its easy to see why they're endangered, you'd never be able to find it to avoid standing on it.

The Vechur Cow

The Vechur cow is worlds smallest breed of cattle and hails from India. They are just 30 inches tall.

This image shows a fully grown 16 year olf Vechur next to a 2 year old regular cow.

Ducky The Chihuahua's

Chihuahua's are a small dog breed but none of them compare to Ducky. He is just under 5" tall and only weights 1.4lbs

His head is the size a strawberry and his owners have to check everywhere they go so they don't stand on him. He was once asleep under a cushion and got sat on!

Paedocypris Progenetica

In 2006 the worlds smallest fish species was discovered and is a member of the carp family. Its the worlds smallest vertebrae.

It only reaches as big as a finger nail and its natural habitat is all but gone. Surviving fish live in acid pools because of it.

PeeWee The Hamster

Look at the size of PeeWee the smallest hamster in the world. He is only just about the size of a 50p piece and weighs less than an ounce.

He is a pygmy hamster who is even a dwarf among the other pygmy. Unbelievably cute.

Thumbelina

The owners of Thumbelina, the worlds tiniest horse, specialise in miniature breeds of equine but even she is small. She is just 60lb and 17 inches tall. Now get ready for a cuteness overload.

Its ok if you said awwwwww.

The Dwarf Gecko

This Dwarf Gecko is sat on a quarter and is a fully grown adult. It reaches about 16mm long.

Just look at how hard the person who discovered this must have had to look unless it jumped right into their face

The Pygmy Seahorse

This pygmy seahorse is just 16 mm long and smaller than your fingernail. Some have even been found at 13mm fully grown.

They live in the tropical Pacific Ocean and bob along a really uninteresting life until you remember male seahorses give birth to them and not the females.

The Barbados Threadsnake

Barbados Threadsnake is the world's smallest species of snake, with adults averaging just under four inches in length. Found on the Caribbean island of Barbados,

the species --which is as thin as a spaghetti noodle and small enough to rest comfortably on a U.S. quarter-- was discovered in 2011 and you'd probably walk right past it even if it was on the end of your boot.

Mr Peebles

Meet Mr Peebles, hailing from Illinois and only weighing 3lbs, he is the worlds smallest cat. If this glass isn't good enough .

Here he is next to a ruler. He is just 6 inches tall.
